Free Formation Resources
The rhetoric is rich in extolling the need for systems and schools to be proactive in providing staff in Catholic schools and system offices with opportunities for formation in faith and spirituality.
The hope is that this book may add to initiatives and programs already in place for this purpose. The book can best help in this context when selected themes are used to stimulate reflection and dialogue among staff. Leadership teams and whole staff gatherings could provide a rich forum for such reflection and dialogue
In this section of the website there are short summaries of main themes in each segment along with a number of questions to focus sharing. Members of staff could well facilitate sessions on a Staff Retreat/Formation day, or in Leadership meetings, especially if these facilitators have had an opportunity to read the corresponding article in the book beforehand.
